So after few weeks of experimentation i've finally finished the main game theme of the Amiga version of PowerGlove that fit well and have the right ambient like in the C64 version including some similar melodies.

Many references and inspirations of the Amiga 500 classics games : Shadow ot the Beast 2 by Tim & Lee Wright, Pinball Fantasy by Olof Gustafsson, Project X by Allister Brimble, Lemmings by Johnson & Wright and Dune by Stéphane Picq.

But inspiration also come from a personnal older tracks i've written in early 2000 for the game Out'm Up or "Where is the Xmas tree" a song i've written for a personnal serious game.

Alors que le jeu avance doucement du coté de Matt, je me replonge au début de l'année 2016 sur la bande son du thème principal du jeu. A l'origine composée dans Schism Tracker sans me contraindre au limitation de l'Amiga, je commence à convertir et optimiser mes premières idées sautant d'Open Modplug Tracker à Fast Tracker afin d'obtenir un fichier .MOD adapté à la plate-forme Amiga.

Toutes les idées de constructions provenant de la version C64 se retrouvent maintenant dans le thème Amiga. J'amène tout doucement le morceau à être plus complexe. Tout d'abord avec une base assez basique qui n'est pas sans rappeler l'approche d'Allister Brimble dans Project X pour en arriver à un thème beaucoup plus complexe digne d'un bon shoot'm up comme j'aime à le faire depuis mon projet Out'm up au début de ce millénaire, le tout soutenu par des nappes de strings en provenances de la bande son de Pinball Fantasies composée par Olof Gustafsson.

Le partie presque "ambiance" de la bande son est elle inspirée certes toujours un peu de Dune de Stéphane Picq mais également d'un projet "Where is hidden the Xmas tree" que j'avais réalisée en 2010 pour un Serious Games.

Certains artistes sont plus performants quand ils font cavaliers seuls et LukHash en fait partie. GHOSTS était sans conteste un bon album mais le format de la chanson l'obligeait à se brider. Dans BETTER THAN REALITY, excepte sur "WE ARE FOREVER", le chant s'en va (même les samples vocaux sont très rares), le croisement entre la chiptune et la synthwave reste et LukHash nous met dans l'ambiance avec des sons rétros qui semblent tirés de VHS. La production retrouve sa puissance. Irréprochable ! Jordan Vauvert

Le négatif multiplié par le négatif, ça donne du positif et cette règle mathématique a fait le succès de LukHash, qui a créé une électro moderne en croisant deux genres rétros. Dans CyberChip, il suit encore plus la voie du moins et compose uniquement à partir de la puce sonore de la Commodore 64 mais il l'exploite au maximum de ses capacités et c'est une symphonie sur toutes les pistes. Pour dire les choses autrement, le négatif redonne encore du positif. LukHash est un magicien de la musique ! Jordan Vauvert
