Chaque matins ou presque, je monte au boulot en covoiturage avec mon collègue Stef. S'est l'occasion de s'échanger quelques découvertes musicales, Raphaël, Nirvana... et du Cyborg Jeff.

"J'ai une amie qui chante SUPER bien" m'avait-t-il dit. Elle écrit des textes aussi... Tu pourrais peut-être faire un projet avec elle pour qu'elle puisse présenter une démo à la Star Academy ?"

Cette jeune demoiselle, c'est Jessica Bagabo. Elle viendra une première fois dans ce qui me sert de "home studio", là haut dans mon grenier de la rue des écoliers, pour faire une série d'enregistrement de voix sur des chansons qu'elle écrit.

C'est avec "Mon envol" que me viennent musique et arrangement. Un style un plus moderne, mélange entre variété française, demostyle et R'n B.

Jessica aura probablement été la plus talentueuse des chanteuses avec lesquels j'ai pu collaborer et très vite, la session voice record finale donnera un morceau très réussi !

Every morning or so, I go to work by carpool with my colleague Stef. It's the occasion to exchange some musical discoveries, Raphaël, Nirvana... and some Cyborg Jeff.

"I have a friend who sings SUPER well" he told me. She writes lyrics too... Maybe you could do a project with her so she could submit a demo to Star Academy?

This young lady is Jessica Bagabo. She will come for the first time to my "home studio", up there in my attic in the rue des écoliers, to do a series of voice recordings on songs she writes.

It's with "Mon envol" that music and arrangement come to me. A more modern style, a mix between French variety, demostyle and R'n B.

Jessica was probably the most talented of the singers I worked with and the final voice recording session soon resulted in a very successful track!
