L'été 2005 approche, le métro de Londres vient d'être pris d'attaque par une série de terroristes. Depuis le 11 novembre, et l'attaque des tours jumelles à New York, c'est le genre d'annonce qui nous glace et qui me font vagabonder l'esprit à ce que sera notre demain...

Et si tous nos repèrent venaient à s'effondrer, et si le monde que je connais venais à disparaitre, laissant place à la peur, la terreur, se cacher, la guerre...

Tout en pensant à cela, musicalement, London Bridge is falling down prend forme dans un morceau de Pop/Rock entre le moderne du groupe Kyo et la touche rétro de Nena - 99 luftballoon ou encore Kim Lian - Road to Heaven.

Si très vite, j'ai bien le titre de ma chanson qui m'évoque parfaitement le lien entre les attentats de Londres, mais également cette chanson enfantine que j'ai appris enfant : "London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, my fair lady !" Je n'arriverais jamais à trouver les justes mots pour exprimer ce que tout cela m'inspire.

Officiellement, le titre prend vie après la sortie officielle de l'album Popbuster dont il tire pourtant toute l'ambiance et la réflexion. Mais il ne trouvera place dans aucun autre album, se cherchant même la possibilité de rebondir avec le groupe Pimp d'Alessandro Carcione voire bien années après vers le groupe liégeois Rocha...

C'est donc avec cette ré-édition de Popbuster que je lui laisse aujourd'hui prendre vie.

While thinking about this, musically, London Bridge is falling down takes shape in a Pop/Rock track between the modern of the band Kyo and the retro touch of Nena - 99 luftballoon or Kim Lian - Road to Heaven.

So quickly, I have the title of my song which perfectly evokes the link between the London bombings, but also this childish song I learned as a child: "London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, my fair lady!" I could never find the right words to express what all this inspires in me.

Officially, the track comes to life after the official release of the Popbuster album, from which it draws all its atmosphere and reflection. But it won't find a place in any other album, even looking for the possibility of bouncing back with Alessandro Carcione's band Pimp or even many years later towards the Liège band Rocha...

So it is with this re-release of Popbuster that I let him come to life today.
