Croisement entre Jacques Brel et les années 80, "Ils s'aimaient" est le dernier titre composé pour cet album.

Lorsque nous avons entamé la production du prochain MOOC lié aux "couples", mon ami Jeff m'avait parlé plusieurs de la chanson "Les vieux amants" de Brel... et j'ai donc été y cherché une certaine inspiration dans l'écriture de ce morceau tout glissant autour de la mélancolie des années 80. Au final, je retrouve une série de sensation qui me rappellent le titre Fade to Grey de Visage, les arpèges de la musique du jeu Dune et d'une certain manière la chanson en 1987 de Calogero.

Electro project inspirated from a Jacques Brel song to be an "oldlovers" theme for a forcoming MOOC teaser. An idea inception from my friend Jeff.

using my lovely preset of 4KLANG and 64KLANG2 VSTi driven by OpenModplugTracker with some ambient strings getting out my Mininova Synth.

All that mixed ideas make meet Jacques Brel and New Wave sounds of the eighties !
