Avril 2004, du haut de mon grenier, une fois le boulot fini, je me connecte à tout mon petit univers en ligne pour retrouver mes amis virtuels sur Trackers@Work, Nectarine Radio, N-Zone ou encore K93 et Toad sur MSN.

Depuis quelques mois, je réfléchis avec Toad aux dernières bandes sons de son projet vidéoludique "Gang of Boué" et parmi mes essais, je commence à travailler sur cet incroyable composition du musicien Virgill évoluant comme moi dans le petit monde de la Demoscène.

Le projet se montre même plus ambitieux et je prends donc contact avec Dirk Ansorge (le chanteur) et lui-même afin d'envisager un remix en bon et due forme ! Projet validé, je me donne alors l'objectif de mettre au Pantheon de Radio Nectarine le dit projet en le faisant glisser d'un style à un autre, piano, chiptunes et même vocoder ! C'est pour vous dire, le fichier Impulse Tracker originale pèsera plus de 32 mo avant d'être recompressé pour s'ajuster au standard des connexions web de l'époque !

April 2004, from the top of my attic, once the job is over, I connect to my little online universe to find my virtual friends on Trackers@Work, Nectarine Radio, N-Zone or even K93 and Toad on MSN.

For a few months, I've been thinking with Toad about the last soundtracks of his videogame project "Gang of Boué" and among my tests, I'm starting to work on this incredible composition of the musician Virgill evolving like me in the small world of the Demoscene.

The project is even more ambitious and I contact Dirk Ansorge (the singer) and himself in order to consider a proper remix! The project was validated and I set myself the goal of putting the said project in the Pantheon of Radio Nectarine by sliding it from one style to another, piano, chiptunes and even vocoder! To tell you the truth, the original Impulse Tracker file weighed more than 32 MB before being recompressed to fit the web connection standards of the time!
