==FR==

==EN==

It's been weeks that my friend Tohad has been talking to me about this great racing game released exclusively on the Nintendo Game Cube: F-Zero GX. At the time, he sent me some video extracts, because remember, we are at the beginning of 2004, and at that time, Youtube doesn't exist yet!

Among our exchanges on MSN about JV projects, he shares with me the numerous soundtracks of this game, signed by Daiki Kasho, and little by little I find myself under the spell of the universe of F-Zero GX and although I have never played it... I only have a PlayStation 2 with a chip, and I feel like doing a Cyborg Jeff remix of the "Dr Stuard" theme.

For lack of being able to take the controller to play F-Zero, a licence I didn't like playing on the Super Nintendo at the time, I immerse myself in the atmosphere of my Xtrem G Racing Association, one of my first games on PS2.

I confess, more than the idea of "remixing" the excellent song, it is the challenge of reprogramming it in Sound Tracker format that motivates me. To look for sounds close to the original, then to create a whole sound universe around my remix. Wipe Out, Safri Duo, accelerated Ferrari engines and other samples from Crazy Man and Lightning... then a little layer of chitin.

Yes, the new season of F-Zero was ready to welcome two new competitors: Jeff & Toad under the Air Team Association banner.

The result is completely crazy for Sound Tracker, and I can't wait to upload the result on the TrackersAtWork forum, on VGMix and Overclocking Remix !

Again, my remix will be greatly appreciated on VGMix, then Youtube a few years later... on Overclocking Remix, the headaches with the judges will start long months of loneliness!

Anyway, come summer... I'll end up buying a Game Cube, including this F-Zero GX... And the experience will be a bit disappointing.... God I'm bad at controlling my ship!
