March 2, 2002, the Pixelization project stalled a bit. It's been two months since I started my training as a CD & Web Developer and more than likely learning Adobe Photoshop and especially the Lingo language from Macromedia Director have taken over my major musical projects.

That day, however, driven by online exchanges with General Dream, another soundtracker musician particularly appreciating EuroDance electro music, I took back my Yamaha DJX to embark on a project that moves!

Without realizing it, this new project drew more than certainly its inspiration from the chords of an electro track of the moment "Dance Nation - Sunshine" released in 2001 composed by Brad Grobler and Rob Janssens, but I would not do it. link that later. It is also amusing to note that this punchy gimmick will be found almost 10 years later in another song on the airwaves "R.I.O. - Miss Sunshine" without crediting the first reference ...

In short, my idea was here to make small robots sing "We Are The Bots", in a spirit similar to "Elwood - Stompin 'little Scout" which was then a hit on Nectarine Radio, the Demoscène radio station, but also in the spirit of Bjorn Lynne's Worms theme. To create this little robot voice effect, once the song was composed in Impulse Tracker, I used some VST effects recommended by General Dream in Modplug Tracker VST to finalize the project!

Time is running out, with hindsight, I keep a little taste of the unfinished business of this "We are the bots", the transitions are imperfect, I could have done some more amazing things ... But this training takes me a lot of time.
