Writin a second main theme, it was probably the hardest part of the project as i have to only use the same samples and instruments ! It was hard to create a new ambients in such position as i've allready made a lot with them ! It takes me long time to finally arrived to this manufacture ambiance and then copy the same pattern organisation to let the melody and gimmick developped.

Here it was not the Amiga classic game that have inspirate me for this song. I focus on Out'm up, a music i've written in 2000 for my brother's production... But also on Laxity Jazzy chord work !

Un deuxième thème principal, voilà probablement le défi le plus difficile à mener dans ce projet tout conservant les mêmes instruments et samples. Comment diable arriver à donner une ambiance un peu différente avec les mêmes sons... Cela me demandera plusieurs tentatives avant de petit à petit à trouver ce style un peu "usine" puis construire un développement de la musique similaire au 1° thème amenant tardivement la mélodie principale et le gimmick... Ce n'est plus tant ici les musiques des jeux Amiga qui m'auront inspirées, mais la musique composée en 2000 pour le jeu Out'm up de mon frère Pype ainsi que les accords "Jazzy" à la sauce Laxity.

Certains artistes sont plus performants quand ils font cavaliers seuls et LukHash en fait partie. GHOSTS était sans conteste un bon album mais le format de la chanson l'obligeait à se brider. Dans BETTER THAN REALITY, excepte sur "WE ARE FOREVER", le chant s'en va (même les samples vocaux sont très rares), le croisement entre la chiptune et la synthwave reste et LukHash nous met dans l'ambiance avec des sons rétros qui semblent tirés de VHS. La production retrouve sa puissance. Irréprochable ! Jordan Vauvert

Le négatif multiplié par le négatif, ça donne du positif et cette règle mathématique a fait le succès de LukHash, qui a créé une électro moderne en croisant deux genres rétros. Dans CyberChip, il suit encore plus la voie du moins et compose uniquement à partir de la puce sonore de la Commodore 64 mais il l'exploite au maximum de ses capacités et c'est une symphonie sur toutes les pistes. Pour dire les choses autrement, le négatif redonne encore du positif. LukHash est un magicien de la musique ! Jordan Vauvert
