Voilà déjà de longs mois que j'ai cette petite boucle qui me tourne en tête quand j'ouvre la chouette app gratuite de synthé "Synth One", installée sur mon iPad. En février dernier, j'en avais d'ailleurs fait un modeste live record, histoire de me la garder en mémoire pour la prochaine fois que j'aurais besoin de me plonger dans une composition.

Or, notre projet de MOOC en Logopédie aura bientôt besoin d'une bande son pour son teaser. Même si dans mon esprit, c'est un Bilou nageant dans une citée enfuie sous les eaux aux étranges écritures sur les murs qui voyage dans ma tête, cette mélodie collera tout autant à illustrer l'apprentissage d'une méthode... d'un code... Learning Code.

Techniquement, les outils restent dans mon approche actuel de simplicité et d’efficacité. Les VSTi 4Klang et 64klang2 programmé par Gopher pour le petit monde de la Demoscene le tout ponctuellement soutenus par des instruments de mon MiniNova qui stagne dans sa boite.

Ah cette boucle hypnotique, est venu s'ajouter de manière très intuitive une mélodie tout à fait dans l'esprit et l'inspiration de la musique sous-marine de Dave Wise pour Donkey Kong Country. Rien ne changera, cette musique sera toujours pour moi une référence en la matière.

Le concept de production éclaire restant un élément principale de mon approche créative, j'ai joué sur des cassures entre le thème A et B pour donner un peu plus de profondeur et variété au morceau.

For many months now, I've had this little loop running in my head when I open the nice free synth app "Synth One", installed on my iPad. Last february, I made a modest live record of it, just to keep it in mind for the next time I'll need to dive into a composition.

Now, our MOOC project in Logopedics will soon need a soundtrack for its teaser. Even if in my mind, it's a Bilou swimming in a sunken city with strange writings on the walls that travels in my head, this melody will stick as much to illustrate the learning of a method... of coding... Learning Code.

Technically, the tools remain in my current approach of simplicity and efficiency. The VSTi 4Klang and 64klang2 programmed by Gopher for the small world of the Demoscene all punctually supported by instruments of my MiniNova which stagnates in its box.

Ah this hypnotic loop, came to be added in a very intuitive way a melody completely in the spirit and the inspiration of the underwater music of Dave Wise for Donkey Kong Country. Nothing will change, this music will always be for me a reference in the matter.

The concept of light production remaining a main element of my creative approach, I played on breaks between theme A and B to give a little more depth and variety to the piece.
