This is the instrumental trance version realised by Gdream for the project "L'amour est un soleil".

In the end of spring 2003 i was inspirated from a french song from Hélène Segara : L'amour est un soleil. It was not my kind of music, for sure but there are something in that text and melodies to told me we need a dance version of that song. And that idea will also influenced by the 2003 song : DHT - Listen to your heart.

So, i'll began to work on that project and my first idea was to record my girlfriend Jessica (under the name of Athena). After some difficult test, i'll post on Caramail a proposition to some local girl to make vocal test, and then Astrid Boulanger was chosen to record the voice.

During the summer 2003 Gdream show me interrest to also work on that project and will start to prepare 4 versions as a special MaxiCd edition. Steve Kossouho (K93) also start to work on a special cover.

The project finally finished in the end of summer 2003 and received lot of good comments from the french sound tracker communauty.

Contrairement à ce que le titre peut laisser croire, le Sound Interface Device de la Commodore 64 n'est pas la seule composante de C64 ReMIXed car LukHash le croise avec de l'electro. Par contre, cette compilation regroupe ses premières entrées dans un univers plus synthwave : c'est rythmé et super efficace ! Pour faire simple : prenez l'énergie contenue dans un pain de C4, multipliez là par seize et vous obtiendrez celle transmise par C64 ReMIXed. Cette compilation est aussi bonne que ça ! Jordan Vauvert
