As soon as the bas of the Amiga ambients was finished, i've talk to Matt, the game developper of what i could add more compare to the C64 version. First need was to have a Boss theme.

You should remember thant i can't add new samples to my audio file, so i need to work for all the OST with the same instrument anyway i realy would have a Boss ambient inspirated from Nineties video games like Project X (Allister Brimble) or Street of Rage (Yuzo Kosihro) but also from House Rave music from that period like Cube 22 or Altern 8.

That mean i also need to check if i can change the tempo of thos boss theme without having an impact on other theme of the game inside the game audio .MOD file.

Une fois la base de la bande son Amiga reconstruite, il était temps de réfléchir avec Matt, le développeur du jeu de ce que je pouvais apporter de plus musicalement face à la version Commodore 64. Le nouveau thème prioritaire étant une musique stressante pour les phases de combat contre les boss.

L'un des éléments principales pour la réalisation de toutes nouvelles musiques pour le jeu était bien sur de n'ajouter aucun nouveau sample au fichier .MOD ! Pour ma part, quoi de mieux pour donner ce gout des bagarres du débuts des années 90 que de puiser dans les sonorités et le style House et Rave Music de cet époque comme on pouvait le retrouver dans la musique d'Allister Brimble pour Project X ou tout simplement dans les arrangement de maitre Yuzo Koshiro pour la série Megadrive Street of Rage... ou encore de groupes électro tels que Cube 22 et Altern 8.

Un beau défi à mettre en pratique avec Pro Tracker après s'être assuré que je pouvais imposer un tempo plus rapide pour la bande son dédiée au Boss sans altérer les autres bandes sons au sein d'un même fichier .MOD !
